Read 1 Corinthians 11:17-34
Jesus used the Passover dinner to teach His disciples that God has always been telling one grand story of redemption. Take the time to explain the elements of communion and why we use them to remember what God has accomplished. Point out how our families pass on this tradition just as the Jews passed on the Passover celebration. Point out that Jesus has also given us a promise to not only go and prepare a place for us in His Kingdom but also to return to bring us all to be there with Him! God keeps ALL of His promises. (John 14:1-3) Let’s live like Jesus is coming back soon!
