Main Point:

Mountains melt like wax, demons run, knees bow and hearts change at the sound of His name. We can do amazing things in the power of Jesus' name!


Object Lesson: "The Power Inside"


What you’ll need: Two clear cups, flat soda, new bubbly soda, raisins.


Step One: Put A few raisins in the bottom of each clear cup.

Step Two: Pour the flat soda into one cup - nothing happens.

Step Three: Pour the new bubbly soda into the second clear cup. Watch!!!


WHAT HAPPENED? The old soda was dead. The new soda with bubbles had the power to lift the raisins. Without Jesus’ power, not much can happen. But, when we are filled with the Holy Spirit, His power can do things we could never do on our own.
