My Title: Jesus was MADE to BECOME the Perfect High Priest

My Verse: 4-6

"And no one takes this honor for himself, but only when called by God, just as Aaron was. 5 So also Christ did not exalt Himself to be made a high priest, but was appointed by Him who said to Him, 'You are my Son, today I have begotten You,'; 6 as He says also in another place, 'You are a priest forever, after the order of Melchizedek.'"

My Response:

We don't chose our own role. We can only chose whether or not, and how much we submit to the Father's will. It's through our realization that He is God and we are NOT that we begin to relinquish our false sense of control. It's when we discover His good, true, faithful and loving nature that we begin to trust Him. It's when we desire to see Him that we begin to follow Him. It's when we are grateful for Him and who He is that begin to want what He wants. It's when we want what He wants that we begin to submit our will to His through obedience. It's being MADE into something much greater, much better, much grander and in the end it's put on display. All who see it, want to purchase it but the jeweler refuses to sell it, because it's not for sale. This one is f
