My Verse: Verse 10

"10 For it was fitting that He, FOR whom and BY whom all things exist, in bringing many sons to glory, should make the founder of their salvation perfect through suffering. 11 For He who sanctifies and those who are sanctified all have one source. That is why He is not ashamed to call them brothers,"

My Response:

Don't get it twisted! Jesus had to be made lower than the angels to come into humanity SO THAT He could FULLY suffer the weight that we are subject to in this flesh and face the temptations WE face. Otherwise HOW could He ever have fulfilled the LAW. - It is the beauty of GOD'S story to write His story this way!!!

Jesus was FULLY man and he suffered and was tempted as one, but He was ALSO FULLY God, and was capable of never failing to fulfill the LAW... He knew NO SIN. He HAD to be made like His brothers in every respect, so that He might BECOME a merciful and faithful high priest in the service of God. Not only that but because of that He is able to help those who are being tempted! He UNDERSTANDS what you are up against.

Jesus serves God the Father but is worthy to be worshiped because He is God the Son. EVERYTHING was put into subjection to Him and nothing was left outside His control... even things we cannot currently see or comprehend
