Object Lesson: "The Gift"
Have each of your children make one gift for each member of their family. Plan to exchange them one week from today. Nothing too elaborate, but a simple craft, drawing or note that explains WHAT really makes them special to the family. There are too many illustrations to list here on how to relate these gift to each other to the gift God gave to man when He gave us the gift of His grace through Jesus. Everything from the anticipation for your loved ones to open your gifts to the gifts being free of charge to the inability for the receiver to take any credit in the creation or craftsmanship of the gift!
