My Title: Do You Have Knowledge of God?

My Verse: 10-11

"10 But by the grace of God I am what I am, and His grace towards me was not in vain. On the contrary, I worked harder than any of them, though it was not I but the grace of God that is with me. 11 Whether then it was I or they, so we preach and so you believed."

My Response:

Vs. 58 "Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that in the Lord your labor is not in vain."

KNOW YOUR PLACE. KNOW WHO YOU ARE. BE GRATEFUL FOR GOD'S GRACE! Be KNOWLEDGABLE about God! - If in Christ we have hope in this life only, we are of all people most to be pitied. - Don't miss this.

Jesus DID die. He WAS buried. He DID RAISE from the GRAVE DEFEATING DEATH! - THIS IS WHAT MAKES THE GOOD NEWS, GOOD! Be reminded of this daily. Be energized and motivated by it daily. TOIL and STRIVE for the gospel, enduring hardship and persecution because this life is temporary and the next is eternal! Do EVERYTHING for Kingdom purpose. <-- Read that again.

How Will This Make You a Better Husband/Father/Man:

You know this... but DO YOU KNOW THIS? If there is a bridge spanning a chasm you don't act like you're walking on air. If you really BELIEVE your circumstance and perspective on the world is TRUE then you need to act like it. TOIL. STRIVE. WORK HARD WHILE THERE IS WORKING TO DO! Know that nothing you do for the Lord is in vain... That means make sure that your efforts are pointed at Kingdom business before diving in and then dive in with both hands and your whole heart and mind. Lead your family to do the same. Time is of the essence. LIVE. LIKE. IT.

My Notes:

  • Remind yourself. Remind others. It's ALL about the gospel. Christ died to save sinners.

  • He was buried. He was raised. On the third day in accordance with the scriptures.

  • He appeared to the 12 AND to over 500 people! Proof.

  • He appeared also to James and then lastly to Paul.

  • By the GRACE of God I am what I am!

  • Are you humble? Grateful?

  • What you sow does not come to life unless it dies.

  • There are heavenly bodies and earthly bodies, but the glory of the heavenly is of one kind and the glory of the earthly is of another.

  • If there is a natural body, there is also a spiritual body.

  • In the twinkling of an eye. - SO COOL. Some of us will be raptured. Lord, that would be awesome.

  • vs 51 "Behold,! I tell you a mystery. We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, 52 in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet, For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we shall be changed. 53 For this perishable body must put on the imperishable, and this mortal body must put on immortality. 54 When the perishable puts on the imperishable, and the mortal puts on immortality, then shall come to pass the saying that is written: 'Death is swallowed up in victory.' 'O Death, where is your victory? O death, where is your sting?'"

  • THANKS be to GOD, who GIVES us the victory through our LORD JESUS CHRIST!

  • Vs. 58 "Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that in the Lord your labor is not in vain."
